Vacancy - Grounds Maintenance Operative(s)

We require a Grounds Maintenance Operative(s) to work throughout Wiltshire on a variety of MOD, commercial and local authority contracts.

The Role:

• To assist the Grounds Maintenance team in providing high quality grounds care on a prestigious MOD commercial and local authority sites.
• Duties to include grass cutting, weeding, hedge trimming and leaf clearance.
• Be dedicated to achieving departmental targets and deadlines.
• Comply with site health and safety procedures and promote safe working practice.
• Knowledege ISO 9001:2000 systems would be an advantage.

The Person:

• Be familiar with all aspects of Grounds Maintenance.
• Experience in the use of Ramsomes 2250 and 350 would be an advantage.
• Able to work as directed by the Contracts Manager or Supervisor.
• Be energetic, enthusiastic and positive in approach.
• Formal horticultural qualifications would be an advantage as would pesticide application certificates.
• Have proof of competence e.g. CSCS/ROLO card, operator certificates, photographs etc.

Salary: £12,500 p.a. depending on experience.
