Turf and Pitch Care
As members of the Institute of Groundsmanship the Bawden Group first established itself as a sports turf maintenance company and has maintained a reputation for expertise in this area. We now maintain everything from amenity turf and prestige lawns to rugby pitches and cricket wickets. There are significantly more services on offer than just grass and lawn cutting.
Our clients range from local sports clubs and public schools to local authorities and private estates – all have large turfed grass areas with different uses requiring bespoke maintenance regimes. The Bawden Group Turf and Pitch Care Service includes grass cutting, but also:

- Hollow tine aeration
- Weed control
- Fertilising and top dressing

- Drainage system installation
- Mowing

- Pitch marking
We own a comprehensive fleet of turf care machinery, available to all our clients, and knowledgeable staff qualified to recommend and undertake specific maintenance regimes. Our Turf and Pitch Care Service is available as part of a Grounds Maintenance Contract or as a stand-alone service for clients who do not require the wider maintenance service.
