Contract Maintenance
Partnership working with our clients is second nature to the Bawden Group. Over the years we have developed strong, professional relationships that have delivered a level of grounds and estate maintenance that is the envy of our peers in the industry and a source of pleasure and satisfaction for our clients and end users.
For large contracts where a full time team is required, our grounds maintenance teams can be permanently located on site to provide a complete external grounds maintenance service. This entails far more than solely grass cutting, ordinarily including such tasks as:
- Grass cutting and turf care
- Weed and pest control
- Shrub and flower bed maintenance
- Leaf clearing
- Litter picking and tidying of outside paved areas
- Hedge cutting and tree surgery
In addition, the Bawden Group regularly carries out the following additional tasks for Estates and FM Managers to enable the external estate to be maintained by one contractor:
- Aeration or Vertidraining
- Sports field care and marking
- Graffiti removal
- Gutter clearing
- Gritting and snow clearing
All of the above grounds maintenance services are also available from our mobile teams who are not permanently based on site but make regular scheduled visits to deliver the client’s grounds maintenance specification. Again this is not just grass cutting and lawn maintenance, but a whole range of associated services. Partnership working is equally important here and the Bawden Group ensures its clients are served by the same team on each visit so that they fully understand the requirements of the contract and are sensitive to its specific requirements.
All grounds maintenance activities are carried out by fully trained staff working to the British Standard for Grounds Maintenance - BS 7370.
