Tree Surgery team support Amesbury Rotary Club at Christmas
The Bawden Tree Surgery team assisted Amesbury Rotary Club over the Christmas period by erecting lights on the town's "Tree of Light". The tree surgeons provided labour and the use of a Cherrypicker (MEWP) in their own time to help the club. The bulbs on the tree are sponsored by people remembering loved ones, as a result the Rotary Club raised over £5000.00 for local charities. Richard Bawden, Richard Stone and Matt Loader, attended an awards ceremony at which cheques were handed over to the charities, these included Amesbury Stroke Club, Amesbury Town Band, Help For Heroes, 4 Rifles Charity, Amesbury Scout Troop and Amesbury Guides. The Bawden tree team hope to assist the Rotary Club in a similar way next Christmas.
