Bawden launch two new websites
Amesbury-based grounds maintenance contractors and tree surgeons Bawden Group have recently launched not one but two new websites, reflecting the two very distinct directions in which their business is taking them.
Aware that the information their commercial clients need at their fingertips is very different and more detailed than that required by their domestic customers, Bawden set about creating two complementary sites – www.bawdengroup.com and www.bawdengardenandtreecare.co.uk. Whilst each is accessible from the other, and both are noticeably from the same stable, the content, site architecture and copy is designed to meet the specific needs of each site’s respective target audience.
Bawden Director Richard Stone is now closely monitoring the effect of this heightening of the company’s web presence:
“There is irrefutable data showing that 80 per cent of people with computers use the web as their first source of information. With stats like that we would be foolish not to take full advantage and make it as easy as possible for potential customers to find us. It’s early days but the signs are very good indeed.”
