Bawden Group achieves triple accreditation

Wiltshire-based grounds maintenance, landscaping and tree surgery contactor Bawden Group has now achieved the full suite of management accreditations, adding ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Health & Safety) to its ISO 9001 (Quality) accreditation, originally achieved in 2007.

The company works with a number of major facilities management companies who increasingly require formal confirmation that their contractors meet the highest standards across all business and operational disciplines. Achieving all three management accreditations puts Bawden in an elite group of contractors.

Paul Tomlinson, Bawden Group’s ‘Quality Tsar’, believes the benefits to the company are already manifesting themselves:

“Anyone who has embarked on the formal management system process will appreciate how much time, effort and application it takes to achieve accreditation. No matter how good you think your existing processes are there is always plenty of room for improvement. We are already finding that the disciplines of each accreditation are definitely improving our operational and business performance, which in turn benefits the company, our staff and our clients.”
