Grounds Maintenance Contractors in Hampshire - Bawden Managed Landscapes

Since 1998 Bawden Managed Landscapes has been providing grass cutting, weed control, sports pitch maintenance and litter bin emptying services to the Ministry of Defence at Bordon Garrison, which was the home of the REME.  Bawden maintained this contract until such time as the British Army moved from Bordon and the Garrison effectively closed.  Key maintenance areas on this site were the extensive sport facilities to be maintained, these included football and rugby pitches, cricket facilities and small arms ranges.  Bawdens were also responsible for maintaining the military cemetery in part for the Garrison and also on behalf of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

The Garrison in Bordon, Hampshire is located in an area of dense woodland and Bawden Tree Care were kept very busy maintaining the extensive tree stock, primarily Oak, within the estate.

Hampshire Grounds Maintenance Contractors

Also for the Ministry of Defence, Bawden has been supplying grounds maintenance services in Hampshire at Baker Barracks, Thorney Island.  Working with Interserve Defence, Bawden supplied a similar range of maintenance services as those provided at Bordon Garrison.  Given that this barracks was formerly an RAF Station there were fewer trees to maintain but the grass land was far more extensive and included areas designated SSSI.

Currently Bawden Managed Landscapes are contracted to provide grounds maintenance services to the MoD via Serco on Portsdown Hill overlooking Portsmouth and Gosport.  Here Bawden provide grass cutting, shrub bed maintenance, minor tree works, road sweeping and winter maintenance.
