Vacancy - Grounds Maintenance Operative

We require an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to work throughout Wiltshire on a variety of MOD, commercial and local authority contracts.

The Role:

• To assist the Grounds Maintenance team in providing high quality grounds care on a prestigious MOD commercial and local authority sites.
• Be dedicated to achieving departmental targets and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with clients and staff.
• Comply with site health and safety procedures and promote safe working practice.
• Knowledege ISO 9001:2000 systems would be an advantage.

The Person:

• Be familiar with all aspects of Grounds Maintenance
• Experience in the use of ride on grass cutting machinery particularly Ramsomes 2250 and 350 is essential.
• Able to work as directed by the Contracts Manager
• Be energetic, enthusiastic and positive in approach.
• Formal horticultural qualifications would be an advantage as would pesticide application certificates.
• Have proof of competence e.g. CSCS/ROLO card, operator certificates, photographs etc.

Salary: £15,000 p.a. depending on experience.
